The second half saw Whitley Bay & Tynemouth stamp much more authority on the game, showing why they are currently top of the league. Chris Robson opened up the scoring early on in the second half, finishing off another excellent move from Whitley Bay & Tynemouth. Whitley Bay & Tynemouth quickly responded with another goal after Chris Duncan utilised his pace down the right wing, finding Colin Allen, who smashed it into the bottom corner. Whitley Bay & Tynemouth continued to dominate the second half, with Dan Adams and James Lowry both coming close. Sunderland's goalkeeper made an excellent save from Dan Adams' shot, only for it to fall to Ben Noble, who put it away to get Whitley Bay & Tynemouth's sixth goal. Richard Gregory got on the scoresheet, deflecting the ball in at the back post from Chris Robson's cross. Whitley Bay & Tynemouth had several more chances, with James Lowry coming close again, only being denied by Sunderland's goalkeeper. Matt Price finished off Whitley Bay & Tynemouth's scoring.
