WBTHC 1 v Crewe Vagrants 1

WBTHC Men’s 1s put on a master class, destroying Crewe Men’s 1s and firing in 10 goals in the process. Within minutes of the game starting the Crewe back line was put under immediate pressure and gifted WBTHC many chances which were clinically finished by Titmus and Wood. The game was all but over after only 13 minutes when a quick break saw Wood finish from a tight angle with a powerful low strike to make it 3-0. By half time the Crewe team looked dejected and desperate to get off the pitch after another 2 goals from Titmus and Wood making it an amazing 5 at the break.

The trend continued in the second half with some fantastic and patient passing play, and despite two consolation goals by the visitors WBTHC ran in 5 more to take them to an amazing double figures for the day. A win next week away to Didsbury would see  WBTHC move into a promotion place and after a performance like that they should be moving into the Christmas period with a lot of confidence.
