WBTHC Launch New Playing Kit

On Saturday 29th October 2011 the Men's Section of Whitley Bay & Tynemouth launched their new playing kit. As well as looking smart and being functional, the shirt bears the logo of The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

WBTHC decided to use the logo in tribute to a great man and to raise awareness of the charity set up in his name. Obviously Sir Bobby is famous for his career in football  but his ideals of commitment, fair play, and enjoyment of sport are equally at home on a hockey pitch.

Captain of WBTHC Men's 1st team, Jonathan Stoddart said, "We're proud to wear the logo of The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and hope that we can play a part in spreading the word about the important work that it does."

WBTHC will be hosting a number of fund-raising events for the charity and details will appear on the website when available.
