A word from our leaders - Jonathan Thompson & Ean MacKellar:
After an excellent start to the season, we fell a little behind last weekend. To a certain extent it was bound to happen – it is difficult to win every game. However all teams are well placed for the second half of the season. Let’s enjoy it and finish the season with a flourish!
Training
Training has been well attended by the first team and some of the second and third teams. Those not attending training are requested to do so to ensure that all teams are best equipped for the second half of the season – it is a team game and we all need to contribute!
Many thanks to all of those senior players that have helped at Junior training – there are some cracking young hockey players there who are improving week by week thanks to you.
There will be no training over Christmas which means the last training before Christmas will be on Tuesday 6th December 2011 and training will resume in the new year on Tuesday 10th January 2012.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are now overdue – please pay now if you have not done so! And thanks to those who have paid. If those who have not completed a sheet indicating their details, or if their details have changed (in particular updating their medical details), could they please do so as soon as possible? The form can be downloaded from the website and returned to Ean electronically.
Changes
There will be a number of changes to put to the Club at the AGM this year. In the next few weeks, we will be providing documents for you to read before the AGM so that you can vote accordingly. Please ensure that you read these – it is your club!
Finally, if there is someone who should be getting this newsletter and you know he is not, please let us have their email address and we’ll add them for next time.
