What’s happening?  Forthcoming events:

Senior Training will start at 7:30pm on Tuesdays at the Parks from 16^th August 2011. Please ensure you come along.

In addition there will be fitness training in Jesmond Dene each Thursday starting 18^th August 2011. Meet at the coffee shop @ 7:00pm

Next Year’s AGM will be on 21^st April 2012. Venue to be confirmed.

A word from our leaders - Jonathan Thompson & Ean MacKellar:

Welcome

Welcome to a new season which will be upon us very soon. Below you will find details of some of the early games in the season. You will note that we are hoping to put out a junior side each week as well as the senior sides and we would ask that some of the senior members of the Club, where at all possible, help with this.

Training

We will be starting training on 16^th August at 7:30pm at the Parks and fitness training in Jesmond Dene will begin on 18^th August at 7:00pm (meet at the coffee shop). We have excellent coaches in John Wood, Jonathan Thompson and Richard Stephenson and some new coaches awaiting assessment in Dan Adams and Stephen Worth. Let’s make the best use of them and get the season off to a flying start. Teams who train together win games together.

Treasurer

Sam Read has agreed to step forward and take over the job of Treasurer of the Club. Thank you Sam.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are now due. If those who have not completed a sheet indicating their details, or if their details have changed (in particular updating their medical details) please do so. The form can be downloaded from the website and returned to Ean electronically.

Finally, if there is someone who should be getting this newsletter and you know he is not, please let us have their email address and we’ll add them for next time.
